I remember when I was younger if someone in the neighbourhood had chicken pox my mum would always want me and my sister to mingle with that infected child with hopes that we caught it. Its still a vivid memory and I’m sure whoever has had chicken pox remembers it well.

On Saturday a few red spots appeared on Sebastian’s body, he then woke on Sunday with a few more. Turns out he has the chicken pox and its really not bothering him, thankfully. However, on Monday Oliver started to get some spots and by the evening he was covered in them. Things really haven’t been easy around here especially with the hot weather. Hot clammy nights make for restless sleeps and a very irritable Oliver, and if I am being honest a irritable me. We are into day three and I think the rash has stopped spreading and we are just waiting for the infection to dry up. Hopefully soon so we can get out and have some fun in this sunshine, and maybe tonight my sleep can extend from 2 to maybe 4 hours (I would be happy with that!)
