Recently I wrote about my stay at the Marktgasse Hotel and I mentioned about how you could create the look at home, using a few key pieces. Each room is slightly different at the Marktgasse but they all have the same design pieces and this is carried throughout the hotel.
I have picked some pieces that match closely to what has been used in the hotel, maybe a different variation in colour but still creating the same feel.
Gubi Grossman Gräshoppa Task Table light
One of these sat on the reception desk and created a statement as it is such an iconic light.
In the reception sat two of the Mayor Sofas in a dark forest green in leather. They were so comfortable to sit and relax in, take a coffee from the kitchen or read a magazine. I’ve picked it in light grey, because I’m predictable and grey is my favorite colour.
I found a copy of this in the Libary and bought one as soon as I came home.
Found in your bathroom to freshen up.
Beautiful Japanese ceramics which could be found in the lobby to help yourself to tea and coffee.
Classic stool sit as a bedside table in my room, mine had dark wooden legs and a turquoise top, as the room was mainly white this just gave a pop of colour to the room.
Again with the iconic light which was found spotted around the hotel and in Delish where you enjoyed a tasty bite to eat.
The simple and elegant stool would look great if you had a nice bar to practice a cocktail hour on.
Some nice reading material and this particular edition had a full spread on the Marktgasse Hotel.
The Beautiful hanger that could be used in a number of different rooms in your home. Or just as something lovely on your wall.
