Every year I say I am going to attend the Stockholm Furniture fair and my plans never seem to quite work out… There is always next year and maybe if I start planning just now it might happen. So this week I am just going to sit and admire the fair from my Instagram timeline and take notes on anything new and exciting. Already and I think its only day two, I’ve seen loads of new product launches and inspiration. One thing that’s grabbed my attention is the Swedish brand Lintex, I remember seeing their stand at Maison et Objet showing a framed writing board and fell in love with the styling from Lotta Agaton Interiors. Today however I saw these press images on April and May and knew I had to share them here.
The framed writing boards I previously admired was a collaboration between Halleroed and designer Matti Klenell. This time around the writing boards are in partnership with Afteroom, which reshape the way we think of the classic writing boards. Afteroom has designed a floating illusion, like a piece of paper hovering within an oak frame.
“With A01 we continue to challenge the writing boards boring and strictly functional position in the modern workspace” – Lintex
Wouldn’t this be lovely to have hanging in your office space, attaching any inspiration and jotting down important dates and events? Just now I have a small standard cork one, it does the job but isn’t as pleasing on the eye. I am going to continue admiring what the fair has to offer and try not to get fomo! Although Stockholm does look bitterly cold.
